Jeff Seifert will give an overview of products, licensing model, value proposition and general Sales/Partner enablement. This two hour presentation is great for Sales Reps and Partner Reps that would like be be able to give an introductory presentation and overview of the value proposition of WPF and WDF. Second half of the first day and the following two days are for technical sales enablement.
Audience: IBMer, IBM tech sales, IBM BPs
Pre-requeest: vmware Player or Workstation 5.x, 23gb free disk, download VM Image in advance of coming to class from ftp://btvgsa.ibm.com/projects/l/lotusvc/bowstreet/ ; extract and run the image (only WPS is installed and running).
Good understanding of Basic Portal Administration IE: install a portlet war, search for and put a portlet on a page, Portal Users and Groups. |
